RISK ASSESSMENT MADE SIMPLE
Date and time
Description
RISK ASSESSMENTS MADE SIMPLE
Tuesday 24 May 2016
09.30 – 13:00 (including AGM)
The seminar is aimed at providing guidance and tools to help businesses understand what they need to do to assess and control risks in the workplace and comply with health and safety law.
As part of managing the health and safety of your business you must control the risks in your workplace. To do this you need to think about what might cause harm to people and decide whether you are taking reasonable steps to prevent that harm.
A risk assessment is not about creating huge amounts of paperwork, but rather about identifying sensible measures to control the risks in your workplace.
The speakers will introduce and identify where a risk assessment may be required, incorporating what to include when considering vulnerable groups. The seminar will look at the requirement for Fire Risk assessments and provide practical advice and examples.
