Discover the animal life in and around the Thames
Beginning with a bird spotting walk along the Thames Path from Chiswick Pier to Chiswick Eyot. We will go on to the foreshore where participants can take part in river dipping using nets and spotter sheets to catch and identify river creatures such as crabs, shrimps and eels. With the help of your guide you will find out what lives in the river and the current state of the health of the Thames. There will also be an opportunity to find out how people have used and changed the river over the years.
