The River Garden Tea Tour is guided by your own Host gives you a chance to immerse yourself in the history of Tea at Tregothnan. Also discover the rich heritage of the estate around Coombe, Kea and Halwyn. You will venture through Europe’s largest Tea Garden, find out about the rare Kea Plum Orchards and take a trip through the Jungle Garden that has been hidden for 25 years.

Event Highlights:

  • Duration: Approximately three hours of immersive history, covering nearly 2 miles on foot.
  • Terrain: The path winds through uneven landscapes, with some steep ascents and descents. Good footwear (preferably walking boots) is imperative. Suitable for those with robust mobility.
  • Timing: Choose from 10:00am, 12:00pm, or 2:00pm, from Monday to Friday.
  • Starting Point: Your journey commences and concludes at Coombe's heartbeat - the Reading Room, postcode: TR3 6AR.
