Event Information

The River Otter Beaver Trial, (ROBT) was the first licensed release of beavers into the wild in England. It comprised a 5 year program of reintroduction, management and learning, in south west England and has recently concluded. It was led by Devon Wildlife Trust, working in partnership with the University of Exeter, Derek Gow Consultancy, and Clinton Devon Estates.

Professor Richard Brazier, Chair of the ROBT Science and Evidence forum, would like to invite you to attend an evening conference, to disseminate findings from the trial.

We look forward to a stimulating evening discussing the research findings of this groundbreaking trial, and future of beavers in England.

Programme

The event will be held in the Alumni Auditorium at the University of Exeter (building number 3 (6G) on the Streatham Campus map), beginning with drinks and canapes at 18:00 on Tuesday 17 March, 2020 and concluding with a panel discussion on the future of beavers in England.
