About this Event
Have you ever wanted to learn more about what life is like below the water’s surface? The world under the water is a complicated wonderful interwoven system supporting a wide variety of species from tiny microorganisms not visible to the naked eye all the way to salmon. Join us today to explore how important and interdependent the river system is.
As part of the Landscape Partnership scheme we can offer a free workshop exploring which the variety of aquatic species, nutrient levels, freshwater biology, importance for conservation. This will be delivered by Aquatic Consultancy with a morning theory zoom session followed by a practical survey taster in the afternoon to see what we can find hiding below the surface.
* This free workshop is only available for registered volunteers with Groundwork South and Colne Valley Regional Park.
