Once, the Port of London was the world's largest port, with the River Thames as its highway. Though patterns of trade have changed over the last few decades, London's river is still alive, and it bears many reminders of its rich trading heritage.

From developments within the medieval City to the creation of the Port of London Authority, this tour takes you downriver to tune in to the echoes of trade which reverberate through today's London.

Meet at street level at the Garlick Hill exit of Mansion House Underground Station.

Guide number 07982 132231.

The walk will take approximately 2 hours. For information on travel, please use Transport for London's Journey Planner.
