As the days grow shorter, nature invites us to slow down. Autumn is a season of release, of letting go of what no longer serves us and gathering the lessons and gifts from the year so far.
On Sunday 12 October, we invite you to join us at the beautiful River Arts Club in Maidenhead, a boutique retreat hotel set by the river, for Riverside Reflections, an afternoon of seasonal connection and personal renewal.
This is more than an event. It’s a chance to pause, breathe, and listen to nature, to your own inner wisdom, and to the quiet guidance that arises when you give yourself space.
Your Afternoon Journey
You’ll be guided through three restorative experiences:
Forest Bathing
Led by Claire Winter, slow your pace and immerse yourself in the sensory delights of autumn. Enjoy the sound of crisp leaves crunching underfoot, the scent of earth, and the gentle ripple of the Thames. This mindful nature walk will ground you and open your senses.
Guided Journaling
Claire will guide you through reflective writing exercises designed to help you celebrate the experiences, lessons, and growth you’ve gathered so far in the year and plant seeds of intention for the months ahead.
Gong Bath with Phoebe Winter
Meet Phoebe, a gong practitioner and lifelong lover of music and sound, trained with the College of Sound Healing. She will wrap you in a cocoon of sound, guiding you into a deeply restorative state where the vibrations of the gongs support emotional release, clarity, and calm.
Refreshments
Enjoy delicious fresh fruit juice health shots on arrival, plus herbal tea from the team from the River Arts Club.
