Would you know what to do if a baby stopped breathing?
In the UK, 77% of people either don’t know or are unsure of how to perform CPR and millions of people wouldn’t know how to give basic first aid.
We are really excited to announce that we have secured funding to run FREE first aid sessions for babies and children, with support from Connecting Communities Collective.
These ‘Save a Life’ workshops aim to teach basic emergency skills to anyone who cares for a baby or child.
You will learn:
- Infant Life Support (CPR)
- Infant choking (diagnosis and treatment)
- Infant drowning (diagnosis and treatment)
The workshop will run for 30 minutes and cover baby and child CPR and choking. Because we want to make these workshops as accessible as possible, we expect children and infants along too (although you will be practicing on mannequins!). You don't need to book a place for your child.
We have wanted to run courses for the for a while, as we feel the more people with these skills the safer every children is in the community is. We are very grateful to have the funding to put these on for free.
