RLSS UK Open Water Festival, Ragley Crawl
Sun 21 May 2017, 08:00 – 16:00 BST
RLSS UK's Open Water Festival, Ragley Crawl, is returning to Ragley Hall on Sunday 21 May 2017, raising funds to help reduce deaths caused by drowning in the UK and to educate the public on water safety.
Ragley Crawl allows swimmers to tackle a one-mile or half-mile course, encouraging everyone from first time dippers to regular participants to get in and enjoy the freedom of the open water. RLSS UK has also organised a Rookie Raid, a 200m swim and a 400m run aimed at those aged between 8 and 12 years old.
This is a fantastic opportunity for first timers, novice and experienced open water swimmers to experience open water swimming in the grounds of one of the country’s premier stately homes.
Ragley Crawl offers the fun of an open water swimming event that everyone can enjoy in a safe, controlled environment. The day will be bursting with family activities and refreshments - all in the aid of drowning prevention. There is a competitive element, but whatever your motivation, we know you will enjoy the experience and better still, you will be supporting RLSS UK to deliver drowning prevention messages and expand safer open water swimming opportunities across the UK.
