The RMS will hold its 7th National Conference on Sunday 5th March 2017 in the historic Old Medical School, University of Edinburgh.

We are delighted to announce that the theme for this year shall be:

"Medical Education for the Future".

This event will consider how medical education must adapt in the future to address changing technologies, patient demands and disease. We are currently in the process of designing an exciting program of speakers to consider this theme. The event will also deliver a series of workshops with a focus on developing the teaching skills needed for the effective delivery of medical education – an essential skill for any doctor of the future!

ABSTRACT SUBMISSIONS NOW CLOSED
Importantly, whilst the theme is medical education, we welcome and encourage all abstracts from the fields of medicine, biomedical science and healthcare.

Abstracts will be marked by experts from a range of medical specialities. The top three abstracts will be selected for oral and poster presentation, whilst runners up will be entered in to the poster presentation competition. All successful abstracts will be published in Res Medica, the peer reviewed journal of the Royal Medical Society. http://journals.ed.ac.uk/resmedica
