Dear member, this is a reunion gala dinner to celebrate 153 years since the founding of the Society, and will be held on Saturday 5th July 2025.
The venue will be in the Ballroom at the Duke of Cornwall Hotel in Plymouth where there is sufficient capacity for about 160 guests. We have also decided that attendees for this gala dinner will be members plus partners. This will not be a formal mess dinner but the dress code will be black tie. So this is a great opportunity to dress up and enjoy an evening with friends. Check the RNEBS website for further details.
On arrival, you can go to the Lounge Bar and Ballroom Bar where you can enjoy a welcome drink and meet up with old friends and acquaintances. We will be providing music so that guests can dance the night away after dinner.
The tickets are available to members and to members plus partners. Tickets are sold on an individual basis, so if you are bringing your partner then you need to purchase two tickets. Please, only one partner per member. There will be a three course menu with wine and water at the table and a welcome drink all included in the price of your ticket.
For this 2025 event, Society members may invite an additional two guests, i.e. a naval colleague and partner or a family member and partner.
Please Note: It is intended that attendees, together with their partner, will be seated in class order on round tables of 8, but we will endeavour to seat people next to other nominated attendees where possible. The seating plan will be displayed on the RNEBS website prior to the event.
