RNIB Understanding Sight loss and complex needs CPD
Overview
This course is suitable for health and social care professionals who support adults living with complex needs, such as people living with dementia, learning disabilities or autistic people.
The aim of the training is to increase awareness of the importance of considering sight loss when supporting individuals with complex needs. This CPD certified session builds on the RNIB ‘Find out about’ sessions, and attendees will have an increased understanding of sight loss and complex needs, including the prevalence of sight loss, how sight loss and unidentified sight loss can impact on life and behaviour and the importance of regular eye care.
This session is CPD certified. Participants who wish to receive a certificate after completing the training, should select the ‘Certificate of attendance’ add on option at checkout.
