About this event

This session is CPD certified, and participants will receive a certificate after completing the training. This is an online session and will be delivered using MS Teams.

The aim of the training is to increase understanding and awareness of the causes and impact of sight loss for individuals living with dementia. We will cover information about the impact of sight loss for individuals living with dementia, vision difficulties, hidden sight loss, eye health and strategies to enhance communication skills when interacting with people living with sight loss and dementia.

This course is suitable for health and social care professionals who support people living with dementia.

No refund will be issued if you cancel your booking or if the event is cancelled. The Health and Social Care Training team will however provide alternative dates for the workshop should they need to cancel the session.
