RNIB Understanding sight loss and learning disabilities (3 hrs)
Overview
This session is CPD certified, and participants will receive a certificate after completing the training. This is an online session and will be delivered using MS Teams.
The aim of the training is to increase awareness of the importance of considering sight loss when supporting individuals with learning disabilities. We will cover information on the prevalence and impact of sight loss for people with learning disabilities, common eye conditions, common behaviours and signs associated with sight loss and barriers to accessing eye care

Refund policy:
No refund will be issued if you cancel your booking or if the event is cancelled. The Health and Social Care Training team will however provide alternative dates for the workshop should they need to cancel the session.
