Do I need to raise any sponsorship money?

The Big December Dip is a fundraising event so it would be fantastic if you could raise sponsorship for taking part in the event.

How do I donate or pay in my sponsorship money?

Join the JustGiving page and money will be automatically allocated to Littlehampton RNLI. Or use a sponsorship form and leave the money with the registration team on the day (card payments accepted too!). Details will be emailed to you after you sign up for the event.

Question 3

Where do I go to register on the day?

Accepted Answer

You register on the day at the Beach cafe, next to the changing rooms. Registration will be open from 11.30 to 12.30.

Parking

There is parking nearby on Sea Road, at the Littlehampton Wave Swimming Pool Car Park (BN16 2NA) and at The Wall Car Park (BN17 5PB). ‘The Beach’ café is approximately a 15-minute walk from Littlehampton Train Station.

Age restrictions

Accepted Answer

This event is open to both adults and children over the age of 12. Younger children are welcome to attend but cannot take part in the dip. All children will need to be accompanied by an adult at all times.

Safety Measures

Accepted Answer

Full safety measures will be in place which include Lifeguards, RNLI Lifeboats and Crew (subject to operational availability) aswell as Safety Boats. There will also be an ambulance on site.

Toilets & changing facilities are available at the Beach Cafe

Refreshments

Accepted Answer

Yes, each participant will receive a complimentary hot drink after they complete their dip. Other refreshments can be purchased from the Beach Cafe.

Dogs

Accepted Answer

Dogs are welcome at the Big December Dip but must be kept on leads and kept out of the marked "Event Arena".
