RNLI Shoreham Lifeboat Paws for a Cause: Charity Dog Show

Get ready to wag those tails and strut your stuff because the Shoreham RNLI Charity Dog Show, sponsored by Coastway Vets, is here! It's a day of furry fun where every bark counts towards saving lives at sea.

Join us for a tail-wagging good time at our RNLI Fundraising Dog Show. It's a day filled with furry fun and lifesaving love, all in support of the Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI) and their mission to save lives at sea.

Each group is £3 per dog to enter or enter 4 groups for only £10. The groups available are:

Cutest Puppy (12pm)

Golden Oldie (12.20pm)

Doggy Triathlon (12.40pm)

Gorgeous Boy (1.10pm)

Gorgeous Girl (1.30pm)

Best Trick (1.50pm)

Fancy Dress (2.10pm)

Temptation Alley (2.30pm)

Sausage Catcher (3pm)

BEST IN SHOW (3.30PM)

The winner from each class will win a rosette and be entered in to the final "Best in Show"

Food and refreshments will be available throughout the event.

By participating in our dog show and fundraising activities, you're helping the RNLI continue their vital work of saving lives at sea. Your support ensures that our brave volunteers can continue to rescue those in need.

SHOW DAY INFORMATION

1. Registrations for each class will be closed 10 minutes before the class is due to start

2. Classes may be closed early if they have reached their allocated capacity (30 dogs) prior to the start time

3. Please make sure to be ready and waiting outside the ring entrance area 5 minutes before the class is due to start

4. Please make sure your entry number is easily visible for the stewards and judges

5. Only 2 people will be able to enter the ring with each dog and one of these people must be over 16

6. We kindly ask that all dogs are kept on a lead whilst at the event

7. RNLI Shoreham and Coastway Vets take no responsibility for any accident, injury or illness during the event

8. Please be aware that photography will take place at the event and that images may be taken of you and your pet.

DOG SHOW HOT WEATHER STATEMENT

Coastway Vets endeavour to always keep your fury friends happy, healthy and safe. This ethos spreads into our Coastway- in the community events. For this reason a decision has been made that if the weather at this event looks that it will exceed the 23 degree mark, we will plan to cancel the event and therefore not put our canine friends at risk.

Also, if your dog falls into any of the below categories we would suggest seeing veterinary advice if the temperatures are going to be between 21-23 degrees, before making the decision of not coming to support the event;

1. If less than 6 months old

2. If elderly

3. If brachycephalic

4. If suffers from either a cardiac or respiratory problem

5. If obese
