Robert Mizzell, originally from Louisiana, has become one of Ireland’s leading country music stars since making it his home over 25 years ago. Influenced by his parents’ gospel music, he pursued various paths before music, including working with his father in Connecticut and serving in the US Army, but his dream of a country music career drew him to Ireland. Since then, he has released 15 solo albums, 2 DVDs, and toured extensively across Ireland, the UK, and beyond. He was named Ireland’s Favourite Country Music Singer by RSVP magazine.

His breakthrough came with “Kick Ass Country,” followed by the hit “Say You Love Me,” which cemented his popularity. Notable songs include “Mama Courtney,” inspired by his foster mother, and a duet of “Murder on Music Row” with Collin Raye—both reaching number one on the European charts. In 2011, his hometown honoured him with induction into Shreveport’s Walk of Stars, joining legends like Elvis Presley and Hank Williams.

Mizzell also organises fan trips to the USA and Europe, giving audiences a glimpse into his roots while performing at prestigious venues. With awards such as RTÉ’s Video of the Year and a reputation for heartfelt, energetic performances, Robert remains one of Ireland’s most beloved country artists.
