Leading Comedians Bill Bailey and Sandi Toksvig attend

Cathedral SleepOut

On Friday 24 November 2017, the comedian, musician and actor, Bill Bailey, joins renowned broadcaster Sandi Toksvig, for the 2017 Robes Project SleepOut, at Southwark Cathedral.

Bill Bailey, who in 2007 and in 2010, was voted the seventh greatest stand-up comic on Channel 4's 100 Greatest Stand-Ups, will lead a great line-up of evening entertainment. Alongside Bill Bailey and  Sandi Toksvig, who will give an interview on stage, the night will also include, London-born Dominick Felix, a fantastic young tenor who also lives nearby in Southwark, and helps at a shelter on the Old Kent Road, as well as Oompah brass band, who are also based in the Capital.

Last year, the Sleepout raised over £100,000, which meant the Robes Project could provide advice and support for rough sleepers throughout the year, as well as providing clean bedding for our guests this winter.

On the night of the SleepOut, at Southwark Cathedral pm, we will have the support of the wonderful broadcasters and comedians, Bill Bailey and Sandi Toksvig, with musical entertainment and a gala auction of many items including tickets to a exclusive editions of Watercolours of Tower Bridge by a leading artist, Vintage Malt Whisky from the House of Common's Speaker, and vintage ports. Limited vouchers for borough market produce, and a painting by former homeless artist Nicky Nichols.   

If you want to sleep rough and see the entertainment and help more than 150 other people raise funds for the Robes Project, register at - 12 - 18's must be registered separately and be accompanied by an adult. No under 12s.

If you only want to come for the entertainment, then please reserve your ticket here. A donation of at least £10 for adults and £5 for children will be requested when you arrive at the main door.

All under 18's must be accompanied by an adult

What are my transport/parking options for getting to and from the event?

There is no parking, so please arrive by public transport.

If you are booking a ticket for the entertainment, you will be expected to pay an entrance fee on the door, upon arrival. The entrance fee will be at least £10 for adults and at least £5 for children who must be accompanied by an adult.
