ROBIN Networking event
It's this time of year again!
We are very excited to be bringing our most popular ROBIN Networking event of the year to Woodstock!
We're being hosted by the marvellous team at the Soldiers of Oxfordshire Museum (SOFO).
SOFO Museum first opened during the summer of 2014, tucked away in the beautiful gardens in the grounds of The Oxfordshire Museum and Woodstock Library, on the doorstep of Blenheim Palace. More than a local military museum, SOFO is a museum that everyone can enjoy, from kids, to parents and grandparents. It tells stories of how conflict has affected the county and its people, from soldiers serving on the front lines to ordinary people living on the home front.
SOFO holds a collection of over 3,500 objects and 7,500 archive items from two historised county regiments, the Queens Own Oxfordshire Hussars and the Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire Light Infantry. These serve as a a starting point for reflecting on the county's rich and diverse military heritage. You can read more on their website here.
If you are not already aware of ROBIN, it unlike most business networks. The aim of our ROBIN meetings is to facilitate networking between businesses, charities, voluntary groups, social enterprises and educational institutions keen to explore ways of collaborating for mutual benefit.
