Robin Hood Amiga Group
Event Information
About this Event
The first event shall be free and then the further meetings will be around 3 pounds to cover rent of venue and tea and snacks.
5 tables will be available for people to display there machines. It will be held in the main hall with a double door entrance so people can distance. We will have a keyboard and mouse cleaning procedure and masks must be worn inside. There is an outside area where people can also sit and chill and enjoy the sunshine.
We are limited on numbers initially but dont worry you wont miss out! The idea is that as policy changes we can expand and grow. The building has a capacity of around 60 max!
The idea of Robin Hood Amiga Group is to serve the areas Robin Hood used to Roam. Nottingham, Derby, Sheffield, Mansfield, Doncaster, Workshop and Yorkshire. The vibe is an old skool user group where we all get to help each other with hardware and software with eventually a recapping service.
Parking: There are two secure car parks on Haywood Road shown on the map below. You can park here for two hours for free but don’t forget to get a ticket from the machine and display it in your car. If you stay all day between 8am and 6pm it will cost £3, parking after 6pm is free for as long as you like.If you live locally please walk!
If you have a disability and need to park very close to the community centre, there is some limited parking on Haywood Road and Robinson Road. Many people living on these streets don’t have a drive, so please avoid parking in front of their houses as they won’t be able to park their own cars when they get home. Also please don’t park across two spaces as it leaves less room for everybody else.
