Lace up your trainers and join us in Nottingham for the fantastic Robin Hood Half Marathon.
Taking place on Sunday 29 September 2023, the Robin Hood Half Marathon is a single lap, 13.1 mile (21.1km) traffic free course, perfect for runners on the start of their journey and seasoned runners alike.
This year’s picturesque route takes you along Victoria Embankment, River Trent, past Nottingham Castle, near the Robin Hood Statue, through the Nottingham Park Estate and through Wollaton Park where you're bound to spot some deer roaming. Finishing on Victoria Embankment Recreation Ground next to the River Trent. It is undulating, so not all flat. There are a couple of inclines at the start of the route, whilst your legs are more up for it.
What’s included as a Rainbows runner?

- support during and after the event, including help with your fundraising
- a big congratulations from Rainbows staff and volunteers on race day
Costs to run for Rainbows:
- Entry fee is £25
- Minimum fundraising target is £100 (excluding Gift Aid)
