Get ready for a hands-on robotics experience where kids become creators, problem-solvers, and innovators. This workshop introduces children aged 5–14 to the exciting world of robotics and coding through fun, interactive challenges.
Participants will develop key STEM skills—such as critical thinking, collaboration, and logical reasoning—while building, driving, and programming their own robots. Whether they’re just starting out or already passionate about technology, this workshop offers a playful, confidence-building environment that encourages curiosity, creativity, and resilience.
It’s perfect for young minds eager to explore how things work—and how to make them even better.
What to expect
- Robot Building: Assemble your own robot using our specialised kits.
- Driving Challenges: Navigate robots through exciting courses using speed and precision.
- Coding Challenges: Learn the foundations of coding to complete various coding tasks.
- Team Competitions: Put your robot to the test in exciting obstacle and task-based challenges.
- STEM Learning: Explore real-world concepts in engineering, design, and logic.

Session 1: Parade Float (Ages: 5 to 8 yrs)
- Design, build, and program their own custom parade floats to take part in our very own Mardi Gras celebration!
- Create a unique float attachment to their bot and learn to drive/program it to follow a parade route.
- Build valuable skills in creative problem-solving and introductory coding— all while expressing their artistic flair.
This vibrant and engaging activity boosts confidence in STEM through a colorful, and imaginative experience.
Session 2: Ocean Emergency (Ages: 5 to 8 yrs)
- Students will take on the role of young engineers as they work to build, and program a robot to collect and sort simulated ocean debris.
- They’ll begin by exploring the engineering design process—planning, prototyping, and building their robotic solution.
- Code and drive their robot to guide it through a cleanup mission.
This engaging, hands-on camp helps students develop problem-solving skills as they discover how technology can be used to solve real-world environmental challenges.

Session 1: On the Move (Ages: 9 to 14 yrs)
- Build, drive, and program a robot to participate in a simulated football match
- Participants will construct a manipulator system—such as a claw or intake mechanism—to efficiently handle and maneuver the ball (a cube) across out football pitch.
Along the way, students will learn important engineering concepts like how machines work, how to improve robot movement, and how to write programs that control their robot precisely.
Session 2: Search and Rescue Mission (Ages: 9 to 14 yrs)
- Build, drive, and program their Clawbot to navigate a maze and complete rescue missions.
Through this hands-on experience, participants will develop critical skills in mechanical design, automated control, and algorithmic thinking.
