Event description
Robotics/AI Innovation Community May Meeting

About this event

Monthly meeting for The University of Manchester staff and researchers (Masters and above) who are carrying out or are interested in research involving Robotics and/or Artificial Intelligence.

We are going to carry out this meeting via Zoom. We will be trialling breakout rooms at these events so that the smaller chats that occur naturally at meetings are still possible. We will do this either by an automatic distribution from Zoom, or selected rooms requested by the attendees.

The meeting will include a presentation from Warren Mansell (Psychology and Mental Health, FBMH) titled “Comparative robotics as a paradigm for testing an interdisciplinary theory of behaviour: Perceptual Control Theory”.

For more information on Warren's work, visit: https://www.manchester.ac.uk/discover/news/robots-on-the-march-to-walking-like-humans/
