Event description

Description

Healthcare robots are set to transform how therapy is given to patients in the future. Robot exoskeletons, robot prosthetics or robot ‘carers’. These new technologies have the potential to radical change how healthcare provision is given, and how patients are treated.

Will you be one of the groups affected by this new technology? Does your work involve working the senior populations? Are you concerned about how the technology will affect you? Are you a physiotherapist, nurse or other medical professional? How will the NHS, clinics and medical service provision be affected by robots in healthcare? Are you a maker of healthcare robots? Are you a patient who has received physiotherapy for a stroke or other condition? Is care something that can be delivered to people by robotic machines?

We are looking for participants to participate in a mini public. We invite anyone who is affected or maybe directly affected by changes robots in healthcare may bring. Are you concerned? Or do you believe healthcare robots are a positive development?

We invite people from healthcare providers, healthcare recipients (we particularly welcome senior participants), and the makers of new robotic technologies to participate.

Please can you sign up and I will contact you regarding your participation.

Lunch and refreshements will be provided.

Please get in touch with any questions.
