The Rochdale Community Safeguarding Forum has been established by local safeguarding partners to support and share good practice.
About this event
Staff and volunteers in the voluntary, community and faith sector have a vital role to play in ensuring the wellbeing of adults and children and protecting them from abuse and neglect. The Rochdale Community Safeguarding Forum has been established by the local safeguarding adults board and safeguarding children partnership to support and share good practice and to build upon existing partnership work with statutory services. Our next forum will take place during Rochdale's Safeguarding Children Week and our agenda as a consequence will primarily be devoted to child safeguarding themes.
Agenda:
- Welcome and housekeeping
- Safer sleep advice for babies: an introduction to Sudden Infant Death Syndrome, understanding of vulnerable babies and families, current evidence-based safer sleep advice and sleeping product advice
- Rochdale Borough Safeguarding Children Partnership: learn more about the role, purpose and work of the safeguarding children partnership and its independent chair and scrutineer
- Updates
