Established in Dorset in 2001, three piece Rockin' the Joint are one of the UK's leading rock and roll groups.
This experienced and talented trio of musicians can keep any dance floor busy with danceable tunes from the classic era of the 50's and 60's including songs by Elvis Presley, Carl Perkins, Johnny Burnette, Chuck Berry and Eddie Cochran. They also perform songs from more contemporary artists like the Stray Cats, Brian Setzer and J D McPherson. The repertoire also includes self-penned floor fillers like 'Where Did it All Go Right'? from their popular studio album '9', still available by mail order or at live gigs.
During their illustrious career the band has:
- Played alongside Little Richard, The Comets and The Crickets.
- Played at auspicious retro events including Goodwood Revival, Twinwood, Newbury and Newark Retro Festivals
- Appeared at many European events in Holland, France, Greece, Spain and Italy
- Recorded 11 studio albums of which the last 2 are currently available.
Mick has also recorded a solo album during the Covid lockdown containing similar material to RTJ albums and one original song 'Change Your Mind'. This CD 'And Then There Was One....' is also available by mail order and at live gigs.
