About this event

Join us for a guided walk along the beach at low tide to discover what fascinating seashore wildlife can be spotted in Kimmeridge Bay, the best rockpooling site in Dorset. We will follow the Seashore Code to avoid causing any harm and find out what we can all do to help marine wildlife.

The walk will start at 3pm and will last for approximately 1.5 hours. Please aim to arrive 5-10 minutes before the start time.

This event is suitable for families, but all children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

Wellies are recommended. Alternatively, other sturdy footwear for walking along the beach that you don't mind getting a bit wet (no flip flops). Please dress appropriately for the weather conditions on the day. All equipment will be provided.

Access to Kimmeridge Bay is via a toll road which costs £6 per car (charges vary depending on the vehicle). Car parking is included in the toll fee.

Please note: access to the shore is unsuitable for those with limited mobility.
