Delicious food made with local organic Devon produce, picked and served straight from the farm to the rustic table.
It doesn’t get much fresher and seasonal than that.
To celebrate organic seasonal produce Rod (of Rod & Ben’s) is hosting regular pop-up restaurant events at Bickham Barn. Bring your friends and join in with the social merriment whilst tucking into delicious, fresh dishes. Starting with the produce list, the chef will design and cook a fitting tribute to the freshest of fresh vegetables and meats. Using our seasonal produce which will be: Mixed leaves, cucumber, spinach, new potatoes & chard. Pork, beef or turkey
Roddy is going to walk you round the farm and explain where your produce has come from, he wants you to gain a greater understanding of the food you eat.
Sat down at long trestle tables there will be 3 courses to savour, a glass of wine/beer (or non-alcoholic drink if you prefer), included in the price and a cash bar for those of you who would like more, light music and general all-round merriment, in an idyllic 200 year old threshing barn.
6.30pm - farm tour
7.30pm - food is served
