New to running? Or yoga? Try Roga, the perfect workout combo for all levels of ability.

Roga is a unique approach to full-body fitness, combining running, yoga, fitness drills and mindfulness, to give every single bit of you a workout. You’ll get stronger, more focused and understand your body better than ever.

The 4-week course teaches beginners how to run with ease, avoid injury and become more flexible. The two elements, running and yoga, are perfectly matched to ensure that Rogis build strength, stamina and all round fitness. Mindfulness, breathing, and anatomy techniques are also part of Roga, making it beneficial for experienced runners and yogis too.

Each week will have a different theme and you are welcome to attend all four for the full course or drop in as you wish.

Week 1 9th July: Mindfulness and mental strength

We will explore different breathing techniques within yoga and running and look at how these can help us to stay focussed within our practice. Ahimsa (non-harm) will be explored both on and off the mat!

Week 2 16th July: Strong core, strong body!

Week 2 is all about the core! Our core muscles play a huge role in making us more effiecient runners, they help to support the rest of the body and allow us to run with less effort. Expect a core-tastic yoga flow and a HIIT inspired outdoor session!

Week 3 23rd July: Balance and coordination

Working on balance and coordination can help the smaller stabilising mucsles to get stronger, allowing us to feel more confident on uneven terrain and stable in our Tree pose! We will be looking at these elements both on and off the mat and also balance within the mind. When do we need to rest and when can we push hard?

Week 4 30th July: Speed and agility

Speed training is a great way to increase overall fitness. If we become faster we feel stronger and more comfortable when running at an easier pace. Sprints are an effective way to work our fast twitch muscles and get our hearts pumping!

Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?

Over 16 to attend this event

What are my transport/parking options for getting to and from the event?

Some on street parking is available near Clarence Dock.

Bus number 28 stops outside Tesco express which is a 1minute walk from Yoga Hero

What can I bring into the event?

Please bring trainers, comfortable clothing for running outdoors and then for yoga indoors (probably a jumper/waterproofs/leggings!). Water bottle.

Please leave valubles at home but there will be space to leave belongings indoors which will be locked securely.

If you have purchased a 4 week block and need to cancel we offer the following refund options.

Prior to 28 days before start date 75% of your payment refunded

Prior to 14 days before start date 50% of your payment refunded

Prior to 7 days before start date 25% of your payment refunded

Less than 7 days before start date, no refund available

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

No need to print off your ticket, just bring yourself!

Is it ok if the name on my ticket or registration doesn't match the person who attends?

Please send us an email if you have different details for example if you have bought a ticket on behalf of someone else.
