Description

Roger will be familiar to most people from his many years hosting BBC Radio 4’s Poetry Please, which really brings alive the works of so many different poets to all generations.

Roger is joined by the band LiTTLe MACHiNe to provide a wonderful finale to the Festival when he recites many of his poems with a musical backing from the band. This will be a two-act performance.

Roger has a huge repertoire of works but he has remained popular with a wide audience over many years with his wonderful use of words and humour to make poetry really appealing to all.
