October's Rogues' lineup is an absolute banger!

Liam Farrelly

Liam Farrelly’s had a busy couple of years, from starring in Live at the Apollo, to having his first child and now getting married, he’s only 25!

Farrelly's hit the point in his life where he thinks most people need to shut up, and now onto his 3rd full run at the Fringe, all his outings have been met with rave reviews and barrels of laughs.

Straight off the back of Edinburgh we can't wait to see what this up-and-coming star has in store for us!

Karen Sherrard

South Wales based character comedian on the circuit since 2012. A strong middle act on pro bills as well as opening and closing smaller nights throughout Wales, the South West, Midlands and beyond. Took her first festival hour, " A Fête Worse Than Death" to Leicester, Bath, Brighton and Edinburgh in 2016. Welsh Unsigned Stand-Up Award finalist 2016 and winner of Last Mic Standing in 2014. Karen is learning Welsh and has a 10 minute set in the Welsh language.

Characters include:Esme de Flange, a lascivious TV gardener who puts the viewer in mind of Nigella Lawson. Offering horticultural tips and probing into gardening problems, you'll be invited into Esme's world of overgrown shrubbery, hard-to-find Clematis and juicy Cox.

Eirys Evans, a 76 year old village busybody in the South Wales Valleys who runs the world's worst raffle.

Testimonials:

"Where do you go to find narrative stand-up comedy about the woman’s point of view? Not just observational humour, not just the well-worn paths of male sexism, but refreshing, wry and laugh-out-loud material with which all of us can identify, male and female: Sherrard does it. Warm, witty and winsome, with always the unexpected twist in the outcome and the constant readjustment of a view on the world. You want to bottle Sherrard and take her home." - Colin Sell, BBC Radio 4's "I'm Sorry I haven't a Clue"

"A fully loaded machine gun of endless gags, each shot more on the money than the last" - Mat Troy, writer and comedian

" Her characters are well-observed, clever and funny....accomplished with the warmth and edge of comedians such as Victoria Wood and Caroline Aherne" - Sally Stott, The Scotsman.

The night is compered expertly by resident MC Chris Barnes and with more comedians to be announced make sure to get your tickets early to guarantee yourself a seat.

Please note doors are locked shortly before the performance to ensure no disturbances. Last entry 7.30pm.
