Roland UV Flatbed Course

This course is aimed at individuals who have purchased a Roland UV Flatbed printer.

The course will give an overview of the following machines - MO-240 /COi-300/COi-640

The course content is applicable to older versions of UV Flatbed such as LEF, CO and S-series.

• Loading and Unloading materials, understanding the table and functions
• Machine calibration
• Design - Discussion of software applications and advice on how to use spot colours
• Utilising special e?ects, Gloss, Matte and Emboss in your designs
• VersaWorks - Overview of the RIP, its functions and advanced features
• DG Connect - Understanding the machine and business monitoring system
• Applications - Understanding the types of materials that you can print on
• Understanding adhesion, surface energy and the role of primers
• Maintenance - keeping the machine in top condition
• Understanding Jigs
• Using the Rotary system
• Practical print session
• Q&A
