The aim of this training day is to educate delegates on the processes criminal justice services undertake in tackling Domestic Violence & Abuse (DVA). The highly experienced & knowledgeable trainers will teach on the various duties & processes this group of professionals employ to assist adult and child victims, as well as deal with perpetrators.
There will also be an examination of DVA in the context of crime, the provisions of the law, specialist services in areas like sexual violence & abuse, as well as giving of guidance when working with victims or perpetrators from faith communities.
The training is especially suitable for multi-discipline professionals, academics, survivors of DVA, politicians, other professionals who work with victims & perpetrators of DVA, multi-faith leaders, & members of multi-faith communities. Places are limited.
