During the annual CIPD conference speakers considered the transitional journey HR needs to take to demonstrate added value. This is your opportunity to hear some radical ideas and ask questions about the propositions for private, public and not- for- profit sectors needing these changes. This topic meets Peter Cheese’s declared focus around HR becoming more comfortable with business metrics while actively using them to improve business success. HR must use vital staff metrics to benefit their organisations, demonstrating the difference understanding can make in evolving strategic thinking.
In addition, local representatives from professional management membership groups will explain how their managerial professions are also developing. They will explain their roles and the local profile of their organisations. They understand the need for us all to understand each other better and work together on major projects in our organisations.
There is the potential for greater collaboration.
Our topic will support Continuing Professional Development because participants will:
- Understand the advantages of HR using metrics to provide added value to organisations
- Improve their understanding of how to improve organisational success
- Understand how to broaden their careers
