About this event

If ticket sales have ended and you still want to book a place, please email info@lcvs.org.uk.

Not for profit organisations come in all shapes and sizes, including companies, trusts, and associations. One thing that unites them is that they are run by a governing body who are ultimately responsible for the organisation.

It is important for members of the governing body (either trustees, directors, or both) to be aware of their roles and responsibilities.

This training will provide you with:

  • Everything you need to know about the responsibilities and obligations of being a Trustee/Director
  • Tools for keeping up to date with the role of being on a board
  • Resources needed to fulfil your duties as a board member.

This course is ideal for current and potential trustees/directors, as well staff/volunteers running or considering running a charity/charitable company.

Pricing

  • £35.

Learning materials will be sent after the event. You’ll need to make your own brew.

Please note:

  • As we have a waiting list, if you cannot attend, please cancel/refund your ticket or email info@lcvs.org.uk
  • Repeat non-attendance will result in not being permitted to book on to future LCVS events and training
  • We offer event/ticket transfer right up until the day of the event. To transfer to another Event or Ticket, please contact LCVS at info@lcvs.org.uk
  • We will not be accepting Event/Ticker Transfer Requests after the training time/date.
