Adaptive Skateboarding & WCMX Open
Come and be part of a full day celebrating adaptive skateboarding and WCMX at Shredenhams – a brand new skate space in the heart of Bristol. Join us for a day filled with adrenaline, talent, and learning.
This free event is open to everyone: adaptive skaters, WCMX riders, beginners wanting to give a try as well as friends, families and community organisers wanting to learn more. With jams, workshops, free skate sessions, creative activities and an inclusive coaching workshop, there’s plenty to join in with – whether you're riding, skating or just along for the ride.

All activities are free
Just be sure to register in advance so we can ensure all attendees' needs are met.
No Experience Needed
Beginners and experienced riders are welcome.
Accessibility Info
The space is wheelchair accessible, with ramp access, accessible toilets and a quiet area. We are undergoing an accessibility audit, which will be made available to attendees ahead of the event.
Help Is On Hand
There’ll be friendly faces around all day to help, chat, or coach you through something new,
No Pressure to Take Part
There’s no pressure to join in – spectators and supporters are just as welcome.

Free-Skate Sessions
Skate at your own pace with friends and other riders and members of the community.
Trick Clinics
2x WCMX World Champion Tomas Woods will be running trick clinics so you can learn from the very best.
Smartphone Videography Workshop
Maximise your videography skills and learn how to shoot the raddest clips using only your smartphone.
Wheelchair Maintenance Workshop
Learn how to keep your chair in top-notch condition, even when you're shredding.
Quiet Zone & Arts Area
Want to take a break and do something different? We've got you. Head to our quiet zone or get creative in our arts area.
Skate CoCo: Adaptive Skateboarding and WCMX Inclusion Workshop
Are you a skate coach or community organiser looking to build your confidence to be more inclusive of WCMX and Adaptive Skateboarding? Join our two hour workshop in partnership with Access Sport where you'll learn practical skills and hear from coaches and riders on how you can be more inclusive.
