What is a roller disco?

A roller disco is a fun-filled skating event featuring music, lights, and a party atmosphere where people skate to great tunes!

When and where is the event happening?

August 23rd between 3pm-5pm at Waterfront Leisure Centre, Woolwich High St, London SE18 6DL

Do I need to know how to skate to attend?

No! All skill levels are welcome. Whether you're a beginner or a pro, you can join the fun!

How much are tickets, and where can I buy them?

Tickets cost £6.50 and can be purchased online via Eventbrite.

Can I buy tickets at the door?

No. We recommend purchasing in advance to secure your spot.

Is There Parking?

There is no parking at the venue, however there is paid parking approximately 6mins walking distance from the venue - Calderwood Street Car Park. There is also free parking (for 3hrs) at Tesco which is approximately 10 mins walking distance.

Can I bring my own skates?

Yes! You’re welcome to bring your own roller skates or blades as long as they have clean, indoor-friendly wheels.

Do you offer skate rentals?

Yes. £2 per pair

What should I wear?

Dress in comfortable clothes that allow movement. Since it’s a disco, feel free to rock your best retro or neon outfits!

What kind of music will be played?

Expect a mix of genres from disco, funk, pop, hip-hop, and classic roller-skating anthems! We will also be starting themed nights so keep an eye out for those!

Can I request songs?

Yes! There will be a DJ taking song requests.

Will there be food and drinks?

There will be no food but refreshments will be available to keep you hydrated.

Are there any safety rules I should follow?

Yes! Always be aware of other skaters, follow the flow of traffic, and avoid sudden stops. Safety gear (helmets, knee pads, etc.) is encouraged but not required. Except for minors.

What if I fall or need help?

No worries! Event staff and experienced skaters will be around to assist.

Is there a refund policy?

No. Once tickets are purchased there is no refund available. Tickets are also non-transferrable.

Can I book for a group or private party?

Yes. If you would like to book for groups or private parties, please contact event organiser directly.

Do you offer birthday or special event packages?

Yes. If you would like to celebrate birthdays or special occasions, please contact event organiser directly.

Is the venue wheelchair and accessibility-friendly?

Yes. The event is all on the lower floor with no need for ramps and wide doors for wheelchairs.

Is there a coat or shoe check?

Yes. Lockers or a coat check are available.

Can I take photos or videos at the event?

Photography is encouraged. Using photos including minors online is prohibited unless you have permission from the parent/guardian.
