Delve below street level to discover the remains of an extensive Roman Town House, including a hypocaust and one of the UK’s only remaining in situ Roman pavement mosaics. Discover also remarkable examples of Roman pottery, silverware and glassware, and a rare Iron Age Helmet dating from the time of Caesar.
Suit up as a Roman soldier in our dress up area, or create your own mosaic design inspired by our ancient pavement mosaic!
