What could be better than spending a summer Saturday in the sun with your fellow romantasy lovers? ✨🌸📚

We’re heading to Lincoln’s Inn Fields — a hidden gem right in the heart of London — for a dreamy afternoon of picnicking, book swapping, and games, surrounded by fellow bookish babes.

Whether you're deep in your Fourth Wing era, rereading ACOTAR for the fifth time, or discovering a new favourite indie, this is your chance to meet other romantasy readers IRL, chat about your latest obsessions, and leave with a new book (or two!) from the swap pile.

What to Expect:

🍓 Bring-your-own picnic setup

📚 Book swap table (bring one, take one!)

🎲 Games like ACOTAR Guess Who, Poetry for Neanderthals, etc.

🧺 Chill, sun-soaked vibes with fellow romantasy fans

Frequently asked questions

What should I bring?

Your own picnic snacks and drinks, at least one book to swap (fantasy/romantasy encouraged!), a blanket or something comfy to sit on, sun cream, water, maybe even an umbrella to keep the rain away—fingers crossed for sun!

Can I come solo?

Absolutely! Lots of people do—it’s a friendly, welcoming space, and we’ll help introduce you to others.

Is this a formal event?

Not at all—just a relaxed, fun afternoon for readers to hang out and connect. Stay for a little or as long as you like.

Is there a backup plan if it rains?

We'll monitor the weather and update you the day before. If there is sudden rain on the day, there is a Pear Tree Cafe we can duck into. If it looks like it will be a downpour, we’ll aim to move to a nearby pub.

Can I bring my dog?

Yes, all well-behaved dogs are welcome. There will be at least one cavapoo in attendance (his name is Draco), who loves people and other dogs but shall also leave you alone if you wish!
