The therapeutic methods of Thomas Shillaw
- Rapidly recover repressed memories.
- Actively involve people in solving their problems.
- Facilitate deeper levels of therapeutic change.
Problematic reference memories are the unique root causes of human problems. Until now, there has been no reliable approach for rapidly detecting these (primary) imprint maps.
In fact, the major approaches to brief therapy (for example, NLP, CBT, and so on) concentrate upon manipulating cognitive and linguistic (secondary and tertiary) maps. Unless these types of surface level approaches accidentally heal the underpinning reference memories, therapy can be unsuccessful or only treats the symptom, usually manifesting in different problematic behaviours further down the line.
In 2012, an internationally acclaimed therapist called Thomas Shillaw, discovered that the contents of reference memories were revealed in body language – a fact which psychology had overlooked.
After spending the past half-decade researching and developing models for rapidly detecting and working with reference memories, Thom is teaching people how to quickly spot and work with them to help others produce deeper therapeutic results.
Ideal for coaches, therapists and anyone interested in deeper personal change, through detailed examples, demonstrations, exercises and discussions, Thom will teach participants the fundamentals of his approach.
- Thom demonstrates how to use implicit communication to stimulate the recovery of a repressed problematic reference memory.
- Thom activates a positive reference memory to help a footballer become more motivated.
"For the first time in my decade of career as a Psychiatrist, I can promise change to people. How absurd and how profound. I highly recommend anyone thinking about training with Thom to make the choice to train with him today." - Dr Shehzad Javed, Licensed Psychiatrist
"I got a feeling that I was experiencing something pretty special on Thom’s latest course. I wanted to learn the new method myself to assist me with clients so they get the best transformational change with goals or problems. Not only did I learn to interpret patterns of non verbal communication I now have a new appreciation for how it connects with verbal conversation. This was a powerful learning in itself enhanced further through the role playing and interaction. What happened was a game changer for me and I feel privileged to be one of the first coaches anywhere to have these techniques in my locker. Thom has created a system that is a quantum leap in the field of personal communication." - Craig Godfrey, Life Coach, Edinburgh
"As a coach and personal change practitioner I found Thom's course to be so unique, enlightening and transformational enabling me to greatly enhance and fast track the change work results I can achieve with my clients. The very first time I applied these practical learning's with a client I achieved 3 areas of deep and effective change in the first session. How do I know this? I asked them how they felt now about the issue and they gave an ever so subtle double shoulder shrug, a laugh and said 'it seems ridiculous now when I think about it'. I could see the deep relaxed breadths and asked how they felt, they replied, 'it might sound weird, but, I feel lighter, yeah lighter. It's the only way I can describe it'. What can I say? Great job. Your course and tutelage has allowed me to evolve my practice to the next level. Thank you Thom, can't wait to take this to the next level." - Maya Irwin, Coach and Personal Change Practitioner
