Root & Radiate: Full-Moon Flow + Sound Meditation

Step into the soft glow of September’s Corn Moon morning at Effra Space, Brixton, for a Root & Radiate Sunday Reset. Join Joy and Dom for an intimate gathering that celebrates abundance, intention and community. You’ll be guided through a grounding full-moon inspired flow before drifting into a restorative sound meditation — then linger over refreshments and uncover some surprises in our curated goodie bags.

The Corn Moon is a powerful symbol of abundance, gratitude, and the culmination of hard work and this year will also coincide with a total lunar eclipse, a potent time for deep transformation, emotional release, and spiritual awakening.

Limited to just 16 guests, this morning of flow, sound, and surprise is perfect for anyone seeking to root into gratitude and carry the Corn Moon’s magic into the week ahead.

What to Expect

Arrive & Tune In (9:30 - 9:45) Arrive and settle. We'll will invite you to begin silently setting your Harvest intention.

Moon-Mood Flow to Root and Awaken (9:45 - 10:30) We'll start with a grounding sequence of awakening poses, weaving breath with imagery of roots and honouring full moon intentions. Consciously move with your breath through morning-adapted sun salutations, releasing tension and flowing into a moon salute in honour of the Corn Moon and Blood Moon Eclipse later that evening.

Corn Moon Radiating Sound Meditation (10:30 - 11:15) After a soulful yoga flow to awaken and energize, you'll be guided into stillness with a Corn Moon-inspired sound meditation. Using gongs, chimes, and other soothing instruments, the soundscape will create a calming atmosphere to help you reset and realign. This is an invitation to slow down, clear space, and step into the day feeling nourished, centered and luminous.

Community, Refreshments & Surprises (11:15 - 11:30) Stay for some herbal tea, soft drinks, and the chance to connect with fellow moon-seekers. Tuck into a couple of hand-picked gifts — and look out for our Corn Moon ticket raffle: one lucky guest will win a full-size Vitzou vitamin spray (worth £60).
