Rooted In Faith: Zine Making Workshop

This workshop is an exclusive women’s event designed for people of any cultural background. Inside is the beautiful and intimate space Root 25 Cafe, will host discussions around faith and what justice means to us as we learn about the plight of Uyghur peoples as well as many other communities fighting for justice. We will share our thoughts and understandings creatively through zine-making; and if you have never practiced zine-making before this is an excellent introduction!

All proceeds will be going towards a fundraiser for Uyghur widows and orphans. Food and drink will be provided.

Instead of charging for this event, we require all guests to please donate a minimum of £5 to our fundraiser below and bring proof of donation along with you.

This event is designed and facilitated by Najma Bihi, Young Producer on Numbi Arts Young Peoples Programme Barbaarinta Barbaarta alongside colleagues from the programme.
