Hamra's Runway Ready Workshop
Hamra from World Women Wellbeing will lead a series of 7 weekly sessions on Tuesdays from 10am to 12pm, beginning on 9th September and running through until 21st October. These workshops invite you to get hands-on with upcycling, transforming pre-loved fabrics and garments into unique fashion pieces as part of the Roots to Renewal Project. Whether you’re a beginner or have sewing experience, you’ll develop new skills and creative confidence in a supportive, friendly environment.
Your completed garments will have the special opportunity to be featured in our Community Fashion Show on Saturday 8th November, where all participants—and the wider community—are welcome to attend and celebrate sustainable style together. Join us to express your individuality, meet others, and make a positive impact through fashion!
Photography Consent
As part of your participation in Hamra’s Runway Ready Upcycling sessions, we may take photographs to document the workshops and celebrate your creative achievements. These images could be used for promotional purposes and to showcase the Roots to Renewal project on our website and social media.
If you prefer not to be photographed, please let us know either before the session or inform a member of our team at any time during the workshop. Your privacy and comfort are important to us, and we will always respect your wishes regarding photography.
