Who is Rosca Onya?

Rosca Onya is a genre-blending artist whose evolving sound leans into soulful singing with touches of rap — drawing from the storytelling of Tupac, the depth of Kendrick, and the soul of Prince, Freddie Mercury, and Papa Wemba. A former refugee turned voice for resilience and justice, his music is raw, honest, and deeply human.

In 2025, he performed on Glastonbury’s iconic Pyramid Stage with the COWT Choir, following past work with Dave, support slots for Vald and Dadju at the O2 Arena, and a standout main stage set at Camp Bestival alongside Sugababes, Sir Tom Jones, and Basement Jaxx.

Who is Isabelle Mettle?

Isabelle Mettle is a North London-born artist, producer, and songwriter whose work traverses the rich landscapes of alternative soul, funk, R&B, and jazz. A self-proclaimed “producer and songwriter, who also just happens to sing,” Isabelle's music combines poetic lyricism with a flair for genre-defying experimentation. Her voice and composition echoes the essence of neo-soul greats such as Erykah Badu and Jill Scott, whilst embracing the bold innovation of artists such as Blood Orange, Imogen Heap and Kate Bush.

This show is special. The Angerstein is run by someone who’s stood by Rosca Onya through every season. Playing small, intimate spaces like this isn’t just important—it’s a way of giving back to the communities that both Rosca and Isabelle's music speaks for.

The Angerstein is a historic and beautiful Victorian hotel and pub dating back to the year 1888, it is a 5 minute drive or 10-minute bus journey from North Greenwich Station @ O2 Arena and the centre of Greenwich. It is also a 2-minute walk from Westcombe Park Station, which provides quick access to key destinations within London and Kent, including a 15 minute journey to London Bridge.
