About this event

Steve Malsher works as a RHS Horticultural Tutor, Consultant and Professional Gardener. He heads up the Specialist Projects team at Nicholsons and is a lead on pests and diseases and is an expert on the pruning of all garden plants including large shrubs and trees.

Learn the basics of Rose pruning.

We begin with appropriate tool use and care, making the correct cuts. This is a talk and demonstration, so make sure that you arrive dressed for some outdoors teaching! We begin under cover with the main theory and discuss all aspects of pruning and what tools to use. This is in the form of a PowerPoint presentation.

Arrive at 10.15 am for 10.30 am start, finish at 1pm. £25 (20 places).
