Due to COVID-19 we are having to restrict our Open Day Tours and are asking that you book in advance. Places are limited to one person per family. The classes will be empty of children but we hope that you will get a good feel of our school and ethos. Social distancing measures will be in place at all times and we ask that you wear a face covering and you sanitise your hands on arrival and departure.
Rossett Acre is a 4-11 years primary school and is organised into 14 classes (2 in each year group). The school was built in 1970 and has had extensions to the main building since. The most recent development was a new purpose-built year 6 block in the summer of 2018, following two successful bids for grants by the Trust. One of the grants was also used to replace all the windows and doors in school.
There is a self-contained bungalow, which is used for meetings/small group teaching/nurture sessions.
The school benefits from two playgrounds, an adventure trim trail and a large playing field as well as attractive planting and landscaping. There is also a conservation area and pond within the school grounds. The school classrooms are not open-plan, with the exception of EYFS, but classes do share library and activity areas. There is also a dedicated music room.
