A Ranger-led walk along the estuary and over to Rough Island, part of NTS Rockcliffe, along a causeway accessible at low tide. Enjoy stunning views (weather permitting!) and a variety of coastal plants and wildlife at this special spot on the Solway shore.
Meet at Kippford bus stop, at the end of the shore road by 'The Ark' cafe.
Please wear stout boots or wellies, and clothes suitable for the conditions. There will be wet sand and stony, rough ground underfoot. Public toilets are available at Kippford main car park.
Please note we may have to cancel this event if weather conditions are unsuitable . In the event of a cancellation, all tickets will be refunded. Cancellation notice will be sent by email to the address you have registered with Eventbrite as soon as possible before the event start time, please check before you leave.
