About this event

Arts • Theatre

Hi, this is the first of my storytelling gatherings to mark the changing seasons- I hope you will join me for this Autumn Equinox in the beautiful surroundings of Lesnes Abbey Wood- meet me at the Chesnut Kiosk at 6.45 and we will walk down together to The Clearing (Lesnes outdoor learning space) where a roaring fire will be there to welcome you, ready to start with stories at 7pm

I'll be telling ancient stories about faeries, old gods, strange adventures, and enchantment amongst the ancient trees of this beautiful wood. There'll be lots of time to chat, opportuites to join in with the story if you'd like to (with no obligation to do so!), and we'll be writing our hopes for the new season, thanks for the harvest, and burning these in the fire. We'll co-create a shrine to the season out of available materials, and you'll leave ready to welcome the darker months. It'll be fun and friendly!

Directions and ways to get there can be found here https://www.lesnesabbeywoods.org/plan-your-visit/directions-contact/
