Event description

Description

Join us for the second and final round of informal sessions for parents, teachers and early years workers. The sessions include a mixture of informal chat while we explore ways to nurture a joy of learning

We are delighted to bring to Lanark Gary Walsh. Gary has a background in character development and has set up the Curriculum for Equity blog. The sessions are introduced by Ian and Tila from Catch the Light - both local Lanark parents, with a background in youth and community development who create a relxed style for you to take part.

You can see some images from round 1 and learn more about the project here.

The frst two sessions are in the Memorial Hall and the final session brings adults and children together for a fun-filled outdoor experience. More details will be provided nearer the time.

While adults are taking part in these sessions, there are creative workshops available for children in Primaries 1 to 3. Please book children separately. If you have children that are not in this age group you are welcome to bring them along under your supervision.

PLEASE NOTE: We advise booking all three sessions in advance to save your place. If you can't make all four session, that's okay just book for the dates you can attend.

What if I came to round 1, can I come to round 2?

Yes, you're very welcome to come to the round 2 sessions as we will have different speakers and cover different topics.
