On 21 September 2023, the Dutch group of UNION-IP is excited to host an informal Roundtable with two EPO leaders:

along with two representatives of the Dutch patent profession:

Bart Postmus, Dutch and European Patent Attorney at Marel
Rike Dekker, Dutch and European patent Attorney, partner at Kilburn & Strode

Reinier Wijnstra, President of UNION-IP, will guide the conversation around current topics such as:

latest developments at the EPO
ideal interaction between the examiners and patent attorneys – both sides of the story
how we can maintain the quality of patents granted by the EPO.

The event will take place at the Kurhaus in Scheveningen (The Hague, NL). The language will be English.

The Roundtable will take place from 4 to 6 pm, followed by drinks and dinner. The Roundtable and drinks are free of charge. Participation in the dinner is 50 Euros. The capacity for the dinner is limited, and places will be assigned on a first come, first serve basis.
